Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the CMA will prepare and administer medications as ordered by the attending physician, as well as give direct care to promote the residents’ safety and comfort. |
Required Skills | Successful candidates must be dependable, compassionate, have good time management and communication skills, and have a desire to work with the elderly. You may occasionally be asked to fulfill the responsibilities of a Geriatric Nursing Assistant. Requirements also include CPR certification and a current Maryland Certified Medicine Aide license. |

Charge Nurse (RN or LPN)

Geriatric Nursing Assistant

St. Mary’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in beautiful historic Leonardtown, Maryland, has an immediate need for full-time and part-time Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs). Accepting applications for all shifts (7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am). Must be able to work every other weekend. The position is under the supervision of a charge nurse, the GNA will be responsible for giving direct care to promote the residents’ safety and comfort, while recognizing their needs and rights. |
